Lane Library
This
course will require some research, so please familiarize
yourself with the AASU's Lane
Library. The library provides students with access to
a variety of online databases and interlibrary loan options.
It also provides distance
education services to students who may not be able to
visit the AASU campus. You will need to consult the library
for any passwords required to access online databases at
a distance.

Computing
To
access course materials, a multimedia-class computer with
Internet connectivity is required. Students are best served
by a 56K or faster connection speed.
Course Facilitation
Students
should also have the appropriate Internet browser to view
this course. Optimal views of online courses or supplementary
materials are rendered in MS
Internet Explorer 5.5 or better and Netscape
Navigator 6 or better or Firefox.
Mac OS X users may find that Apple
Safari renders online content, interactions and web
applications more effectively than other browsers. Browsers may need to be further optimized if courses utilizing
multimedia require any browser plugins or ancillary players.
WebVista
WebVista is Armstrong Atlantic State University's course
management system, which is accessed via a web browser
via the Internet. To access the course, you must have
access to the Internet as well as the system--and you
